Day 1 on 30 day challenge

Had a 15 hour fast from 4pm yesterday until 9 am this morning when I had breakfast.  Breakfast consisted of:

Coconut oil (for eggs), scrambled egg 1 lg, 3 slices bacon and a 8 oz cup of Unsweet almond milk. 302 calories, 1 carb, 28.5 fat 14 Protien.  I am going to do my best to keep my Regular Carbs to 20 if possible.  Not sure how this will work but Hey.  Gotta start somewhere.


My Keto Journey Day 1

Hi everyone.  I am new at this blog thing but I figured I might as well start somewhere.  I have been on Keto for a week now and have lost 10 lbs but on the better note I have had no leg or hip pain in the past 5 days.  I am a 53 year old woman married to a wonderful disabled veteran and I have 2 boys Andrew 22 and Matthew 18.  I don’t work and I am the caretaker of my husband James.  I need to do this to get healthy and to lessen my pain all together.  I have done Weight Watchers off and on for over 20 years and it is not working any longer.  Looking forward to what the next year brings and where I go in the Keto Journey
